The Opportunity
The company is rebuilding its risk engine from a monolith into event-driven services under real transaction load. You would own a service end to end, not a ticket queue — founding-engineer scope without the seed-stage salary.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design and ship event-driven services (back-pressure, idempotency, replay)
- Own the migration path off the monolith, service by service
- Carry the pager for what you build
Key Requirements
- Strong distributed-systems background; you have run queues in production
- Comfortable with Postgres under load
