The Opportunity
We're looking for a top-tier React/UI engineer with 3–8 years of experience building production software. You should have a track record of building complex, reusable UI components on top of distributed systems at real scale. You should be comfortable owning the company's platform consumption layer, from performance to UX, in a fast-moving environment with no PMs, where you turn enterprise client feedback straight into shipped product. Bonus points if you have production experience with TypeScript and Next.js, if you're comfortable in the middle tier and backend (FastAPI/Python, AWS), and if you've worked in demanding environments with hard constraints, like Verkada.
What You'll Be Doing
- Build and evolve complex, production-grade interfaces in React and Next.js across 6–7 enterprise product surfaces, each of which could become a $100M business line
- Own frontend architecture decisions, including component design, state management, data flow, rendering behavior and performance, and drive a high bar for UI quality and maintainability
- Work directly with growth pods (growth strategists and forward deployed engineers), backend engineers and platform engineers to turn Global 2000 client feedback into product. There are no PMs, so you'll decide which requests actually create value
- Implement the middle-tier logic and API orchestration that connects UI experiences to FastAPI/Python backend services and data systems
- Lead new products from a dead stop to shipped. For example, the team built and launched a full dialer in under 11 weeks to close an enterprise deal
- Rewrite and modernize existing UI surfaces to improve performance, usability and scalability as customers grow
Why This Role
- Hypergrowth, Well Funded: 15 → 110+ people in just over a year (50 engineers), $50M Series A, and an enterprise AI product shipped in 12 months — now taking on Salesforce for Global 2000 revenue teams.
- No Managers, No PMs — Just Owners: Players, player-coaches and DRIs only. You decide which client requests create value and ship them; extreme ownership is the operating model, not a slogan.
- 6–7 Product Surfaces, Each a Potential $100M Line: Own the React/Next.js consumption layer across the whole platform, from component architecture to performance, on top of distributed systems at real scale.
- Ship Fast Against Real Deals: The team built and launched a full dialer in under 11 weeks to close an enterprise contract. Expect that cadence.
Key Requirements
- Experience engineering complex UIs and systems from client feedback in a production environment (no PMs to fall back on)
- Experience working in a legitimate production environment
- Expert-level React engineering experience as primary skill (production applications, component architecture, performance optimization)
- 3 - 8 years of experience as a product engineer, frontend engineer, or software engineer
- Working knowledge of system design and backend architecture (data models, API orchestration, scalability tradeoffs)
Nice to Have
- Strong university background (such as MIT, Waterloo, Caltech, or Georgia Tech)
- Production experience with Next.js or TypeScript
Interview Process
- Initial Recruiter Screen — Background and interest alignment
- Technical Frontend Assessment — React expertise and frontend architecture
- Final Onsite/Virtual Loop — Cross-functional collaboration, product ownership, and cultural fit
About the Company
- Space: AI, Data
- At a glance: Team of about 130, founded 2023, $50M raised
Application Questions

- This role is on-site in the San Francisco Bay Area and doesn't offer relocation support. Are you able to work from our SF office?
- Can the candidate be on-site? If not, is the candidate willing to relocate?
