The Opportunity

We are looking for a Founding Engineer with 3 - 7 years of experience to join our small, high-velocity team. We're seeking a product-minded engineer with a strong intuition for production to help us build out our agent workforce platform. As we're seeing rapid early adoption, you will be crucial in scaling our product to meet user demand and anticipated growth.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own the application layer of our platform, from observability and permissions to the control pane and user-facing dashboards.
  • Design and build scalable APIs, backend systems, and developer tooling.
  • Lead architecture and product decisions, working directly with early customers to shape our roadmap.
  • Own features end-to-end, from concept and design through implementation and launch.
  • Help scale our agent infrastructure to keep up with rapid user growth.

Why This Role

  • Founding Seat, Serious Backing: 7-person seed team with $12.5M from Human Capital (backers of SpaceX, Snowflake, Anduril). Founding-engineer equity with a flexible cash/equity split, salary indexed to the 90th percentile.
  • Enterprise Agents That Actually Ship: A platform for enterprises to build and deploy agents with permissions, guardrails and activity logging — early customers already automate several hours of their workday.
  • Own the Application Layer: Observability, permissions, control plane and user-facing dashboards are yours end to end, from concept through launch, working directly with early customers on the roadmap.
  • Prep note: The company (formerly Datawizz) pivoted from specialized models to the agent workforce; older content online is outdated. Brief every candidate on the current company description before call one.

Key Requirements

  • At least one clear signal of excellence: engineering at a top-tier product-led company (like Notion, Ramp or PostHog) or a top quant or AI shop (like Jane Street, Citadel, Two Sigma, IMC or xAI), a fast promotion track, or founding or early engineering at a venture-backed startup. Big tech (Google, Meta, Amazon) counts only when they owned a user-facing product end to end.
  • Strong product intuition and experience owning features end-to-end.
  • 3 - 7 years of experience in full-stack software engineering at product-led companies.
  • Degree from a top 25 school in a technical field.
  • Experience building products / applications from concept to launch.
  • Clear, structured thinker who can walk through the hardest thing they built and why they made the calls they did.

Nice to Have

  • Founded a startup, ideally accepted into a top accelerator (e.g. YC, ARC).
  • Experience with AI/ML systems or agentic workflows.
  • Experience with cloud deployment (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).

Interview Process

  1. Call with CEO & Co-Founder (Iddo Gino) (30 minutes)
  2. Call with COO (Mike Reid) (30 minutes)
  3. On-site Technical Interview (Half day) — Involves a technical exercise and deep dive on culture and prior experience.
